(BD) - On the morning of April 1, comrade Ho Quoc Dung - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, chaired a working session with the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee on the results of leadership in implementing the tasks of the first quarter and some key tasks of the second quarter of 2025.

Attending the meeting were comrades in the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee: Nguyen Gio, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Committee; Tran Cang, Chairman of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee; Dang Vinh Son, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee; Nguyen Thi Phong Vu, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee; Doan Van Phi, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council.

According to the report of the Provincial People's Committee Party Committee at the working session, the Provincial People's Committee Party Committee was established under Decision No. 1721-QD/TU dated February 7, 2025 of the Binh Dinh Provincial Party Committee, with 58 grassroots party organizations and 6,159 party members.

Immediately after its establishment, the Party Committee and the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Committee promptly issued working regulations, developed resolutions and key work programs; promptly received and transferred party organizations and party members; decided to establish grassroots party organizations, appointed executive committees, standing committees, secretaries, deputy secretaries, members of the inspection committees, chairmen and deputy chairmen of the inspection committees of grassroots party committees, etc.

The Party Committee and the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee have focused on leading and directing the Provincial People's Committee and grassroots Party committees to deploy key and urgent tasks to put them into operation, ensuring that work is not interrupted. The leadership and direction of implementing important resolutions, reorganizing the apparatus, administrative reform and socio-economic development have been implemented drastically, synchronously and effectively. Thanks to that, the socio-economic activities of the province continue to develop stably.

In the first quarter of 2025, the growth rate of gross regional domestic product (GRDP) in the province is expected to increase by 7.51% (in the same period in the first quarter of 2024, it increased by 6.26%). Of which, the agriculture, forestry and fishery sector increased by 3.99%, the industry and construction sector increased by 10.1% (industry alone increased by 10.73%), the service sector increased by 7.33% and product taxes minus product subsidies increased by 10.3%. The cultural and social sectors continued to have positive changes. Social security work was ensured, and people's lives were basically stable.

Speaking at the meeting, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Ho Quoc Dung said that the meeting aimed to evaluate the initial results of the leadership and direction of the implementation of political tasks of the Party Committee and the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee after being established and put into operation. On that basis, it helps the Provincial Party Committee and the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee grasp the advantages, difficulties and obstacles to promptly give opinions and directions for solutions.

Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Ho Quoc Dung emphasized that the second quarter of 2025 is the time when all levels and sectors will resolutely reorganize the political system towards streamlining, efficient, effective and efficient operations. Therefore, he requested the Party Committee and the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee to continue to unite, join hands, and focus on leading and directing the implementation of tasks and solutions in the direction of "accelerating and breaking through" to promote the province's socio-economic growth to reach 8.5 - 9%.

According to the Provincial Party Secretary, in the near future, the Central Government will merge provinces, abolish district-level governments, and rearrange administrative units at commune and ward levels; of course, in this revolution, there are many people who have "concerns", but we must be united and comply with policies for the common development of the country. The Provincial Party Secretary requested that each comrade in the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, departments and branches must redefine their responsibilities to successfully complete assigned tasks.
