Beyoncé is nominated in 11 categories for the 2025 Grammy Awards, holding the record for the artist with the most nominations with 99 times.
On November 8 (local time), the American Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences announced the list of nominations for the 2025 Grammy Awards. Among the 11 categories, Beyoncé appeared in three major award lists including Album of the Year, Record of the Year and Song of the Year with the single Cowboy Carter , released late March.
This is Beyoncé's highest achievement to date and the fifth time the singer has led the pack. In 2010, she received 10 nominations, marking her first time dominating the season. As of 2023, Beyoncé and her husband, rapper Jay-Z, have had the most nominations in the categories with 88, but she is currently the only artist to hold that title. Beyoncé is also the singer with the most Grammys with 32 trophies in her career, counting from her time in Destiny's Child and The Carters (with Jay-Z).

Swift is the first female artist to be nominated for Album of the Year seven times, while Roan and Carpenter are up for Best New Artist.

Variety also commented that the 2025 Grammys will continue to be a competition between female voices, as both the Album and Record of the Year lists have six out of eight female nominees. In 2024, only one male name entered the above two categories.
In the section Record of the year , hit Not Like Us Kendrick Lamar's "The Last Song" is predicted to win due to its high popularity, being played frequently at many sports competitions throughout the year and during US presidential candidate Kamala Harris' campaign in Atlanta in July.

This year, the song Now and Then The Beatles's hit single attracted attention when competing for the award. Record of the Year , marking the band's return to the Grammys after nearly three decades, since last winning in 1997.

One of the four members of the group - Paul McCartney - called it "the last Beatles song". The song was written by John Lennon and recorded by himself in 1970 - 10 years before the singer died.
