Bellingham equals Casillas' record

Jude Bellingham had a memorable evening at the Santiago Bernabeu as he officially equalled the legendary Iker Casillas' record in the Champions League.

In the second leg of the quarter-final against Arsenal in the early morning of April 17, Bellingham made his 47th appearance in the Champions League, becoming the youngest player (under 21) to reach this impressive milestone. However, his joy was short-lived as Real Madrid were eliminated from the tournament after a 1-5 aggregate defeat to Arsenal over two matches.

Bellingham did not score or assist against Arsenal. He did not have a shot in the game. Bellingham's passing accuracy was just 79%. He won seven duels but also lost possession 12 times.
