The emergence of more and more luxury villa and apartment projects shows the real estate development trend to welcome high-end customers of Ha Long in recent years.
This November, a tour for the super-rich on deserted islands in Ha Long Bay will be launched. According to the organizers, the tour will bring an "unprecedented" itinerary and experience to billionaires belonging to the top 1% of the world's population.
It is expected that in January 2025, 200 European billionaires will come to Ha Long by super yacht to participate in the Art for Climate festival and visit the World Natural Wonder of Ha Long Bay.
More and more super-rich customers are choosing Ha Long as a destination for tourism, relaxation and experience. This result is thanks to the right orientation of local tourism development. A representative of the Quang Ninh Department of Tourism said that the province determined that attracting super-rich customers will help generate revenue, create motivation to lead the market and tourism trends in the future. To meet the needs of this group of customers, the province needs to have truly classy, different and unique products.

Driving force of luxury real estate development
According to the Department of Tourism of Quang Ninh province, in the first 9 months of 2024, Quang Ninh welcomed 15.6 million visitors, including nearly 2.6 million international visitors. Revenue was 36,856 billion VND, an increase of 39% over the same period in 2023.
Quang Ninh aims to become an international-class tourism center by 2030. The province is investing in building new and luxurious tourist destinations in Van Don district, Bai Tu Long Bay, Ha Long Bay, targeting luxury tourists from China, Japan, Korea, Europe and North America.
Accordingly, in the coming time, the tourism industry will focus on calling on investors to develop new tourism products, targeting resorts for the luxury segment. Increase the supply of high-end hotels and seek partnerships with international branded hotels. In addition, it will also aim to develop high-quality eco-tourism areas on islands in Van Don district, entertainment complexes, shopping centers and golf courses...
Currently, Quang Ninh has about 40 resort real estate projects with more than 10,000 products. Meanwhile, in 2019, this number was 5 resort projects with 1,500 villas and townhouses. Since 2013, Quang Ninh has begun to attract many large corporations to place projects in the province. This is also the time when a series of big brands in the real estate industry appeared in Ha Long such as Sun Group, Vin Group, FLC, BIM Group... High-class resorts, branded hotels, luxury yachts... appeared one after another to meet the needs of high-spending customers.

Investing in high-end resort products to welcome visitors
With the development orientation towards the resort segment for the province's luxury customers, the appearance of 5-star resort projects has contributed to changing the face of Ha Long tourism, while welcoming high-end customers. Products with beautiful locations, synchronous and modern infrastructure, suitable for residential and resort needs, and at the same time have the potential for long-term business and investment will become more attractive.
Mr. Nguyen Trong Nhan, Sales Director of BIM Land, said that since the early 2000s, the group has seen the potential for high-end tourism development in Ha Long. “The locality has many conditions to attract luxury tourists, the highlight of which is the unique beauty of the wonder of Ha Long Bay. This is the driving force for us to develop high-end products to meet this demand,” said Mr. Nhan.
One of the projects in Ha Long that is attracting the attention of investors is Lagoon Residences located in the luxury villa complex Grand Bay Halong Villas, invested by BIM Land - a member of BIM Group. The project is located entirely on land directly on the bay without a coastline, bringing the experience of "one step touching the sand" to the owner.

Lagoon Residences has a limited number of only 48 Art Deco-style villas, providing owners with a resort-like living space. The entire villa is arranged in a crescent shape with a coastline stretching 830m, with a view embracing Ha Long Bay. The project is also planned with a multi-layered natural landscape with 13,800m2 of green space, more than 4,000m2 of lake, along with 2 large landscape lakes and relaxing green parks right in front of the house, providing a green, private living space. In addition, all villas have private swimming pools, bay views, helping owners to rest, regenerate energy, and balance body - mind - spirit right at home.

In addition to the demand for relaxation, the project also attracts attention due to its investment potential and long-term value increase. "Lagoon Residences is a real estate product located on a limited beachfront land fund, in a high-class residential and resort complex in Ha Long. The project not only has legal land use rights and long-term ownership, but the investor also applies many special policies for the owner", shared a representative of BIM Land.
According to the investor representative, the project not only meets the needs of relaxation, experience and enjoyment of life, but is also a potential investment channel, bringing double profits. The Lagoon Residences villas have both business potential and bring a high-class living experience, creating long-term value for investors.
