Associate Professor, Dr. Tran Ngoc Que informed that blood donation has been around for 30 years, however in recent years we have had plans and many programs to be proactive in blood reserve such as organizing the Spring Festival, Red Sunday or blood donation campaigns before and after Tet.
The core important thing that we have built is to have a "force" of people who regularly and repeatedly donate blood voluntarily, even before and after Tet.
During the first 3 days of the week when people returned to work after Tet At Ty 2025, the National Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion received nearly 1,500 units of blood.
Every year, many programs are organized, many points and blood donation sources are established, diversifying the receiving sources. Even during Tet, people can donate blood without having to wait for campaigns.

The program is being extended to include more locations to ensure a steady flow of blood. The program aims to attract 10,000 interested people and collect 8,000 units of blood.
Venue of the 18th Spring Pink Festival:
- From February 8-16, 2025: National Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion, Pham Van Bach Street, Yen Hoa, Cau Giay, Hanoi.
- From February 13-14, 2025: People's Committee of Trau Quy town (Gia Lam, Hanoi)
- February 15, 2025: AEON Mall Ha Dong Shopping Center (Duong Noi Ward, Ha Dong, Hanoi).
During the festival, there will also be a program to recruit new members of the Xuan Hong Association, recruiting 200 outstanding volunteers to join the Association; Donating blood in pairs and Matching blood donors; Creating a video introducing the Xuan Hong Festival and meeting the families of outstanding blood donation leaders.
