Sports such as sepak takraw, karate, shooting, boxing, and chess are classified in the key group with the potential to compete for gold medals. The group of sports with the potential to win silver and bronze medals includes rowing, wushu, kurash, athletics, archery, canoeing, swimming, taekwondo, chess, cycling, gymnastics, weightlifting, table tennis, roller skating, wrestling, judo, jujitsu, and fencing.
