Bamboo Capital informs about the prosecution of former Chairman Nguyen Ho Nam

On the morning of March 1, Bamboo Capital Joint Stock Company informed that on February 28, the company was notified by the competent authority of the decision to prosecute the case and the decision to prosecute the accused against Mr. Nguyen Ho Nam.

BCG said that as of April 27, Mr. Nguyen Ho Nam has resigned and no longer holds positions on the Board of Directors (BOD), Supervisory Board and Executive Board of the company. The company's production and business activities continue to operate normally. Regarding issues related to this incident, BCG will disclose information transparently in accordance with legal regulations to protect the rights of shareholders.

Mr. Nguyen Ho Nam is Chairman of the Board of Directors of Bamboo Capital Joint Stock Company from the end of June 2020 to the end of April 2024.

Meanwhile, just 3 days ago (February 26), BCG announced the Resolution and Decision of the Board of Directors on personnel changes. Specifically, Mr. Nguyen Tung Lam resigned from the position of General Director, legal representative and member of the Board of Directors to focus on performing new tasks. The decision took effect from March 4. After leaving the position of General Director, Mr. Nguyen Tung Lam will continue to accompany the group as a strategic advisor, focusing on finding breakthrough business opportunities to elevate Bamboo Capital in the next development stage. At the same time, BCG's Board of Directors also decided to appoint Mr. Ho Viet Thuy as General Director.

Accumulated for the whole year of 2024, Bamboo Capital recorded consolidated net revenue of VND 4,371.9 billion, an increase of 9% compared to 2023. In particular, the renewable energy segment continues to be a bright spot when maintaining a stable source of revenue thanks to the good performance of solar power plants with revenue reaching VND 1,278 billion, accounting for 29.2% and followed by infrastructure construction reaching VND 989.2 billion, accounting for 22.6%; Financial services reached VND 953.1 billion and real estate reached VND 668.7 billion... Bamboo Capital's profit after tax for the whole year of 2024 reached VND 844.8 billion, an increase of 393.8% compared to 2023.
