Saka is the target of the opponent's elimination.

Arsenal cruised to a commanding victory over Ipswich at Portman Road on the evening of April 20, keeping their Premier League title hopes alive for a while longer. However, the Gunners faced a worrying moment regarding star striker Saka.

Ipswich defender Leif Davis was shown a straight red card by referee Chris Kavanagh for a dangerous tackle on Saka in the 32nd minute, leaving Arsenal fans fearing that Saka had suffered a serious injury.

Arteta admitted he initially felt worried and angry when he witnessed the dangerous tackle that forced Saka to limp off the field.

"The red card decision was very clear. I haven't seen the slow-motion replay, just the normal speed, and it was a tackle from behind. I don't think it was intentional, but it was very dangerous because Saka couldn't react or see the opponent coming," Arteta emphasized.

The Arsenal manager later said he was relieved that Saka's injury was "not too serious", with the player hoping to play in the first leg of the Champions League semi-final against Paris Saint-Germain next week.

The England winger, who returned from a three-month injury lay-off, played until the start of the second half against Ipswich Town before Arsenal withdrew Saka early. "Saka is in pain but it's not serious, which is a positive sign," Arteta said.
