According to the report “Top 10 reputable milk brands recommended by users” recently published by Buzzmetrics, Vietnam Dairy Products Joint Stock Company (Vinamilk) is one of the baby milk powder brands that mothers mention and discuss the most. Not only is it a reputable, long-standing brand, the Vietnamese milk company is also recognized and owns the international award for purity and food safety standards, the Purity Award from the Clean Label Project (USA).

The unit said that Vinamilk is the first and only company in Vietnam to have all its infant formula brands win the Purity Award. To achieve this award, powdered milk products must meet more than 400 strict criteria on product quality and production conditions such as product testing, ingredient declaration, raw material hazard assessment, etc. Thanks to that, the residual pollutants including 112 types of pesticides, 4 types of heavy metals (arsenic, lead, mercury, cadmium), BPA, BPS, glyphosate, phthalates are completely controlled.

The above substances are considered "hidden toxic substances" because they do not appear on the packaging but can still exist in the product from the production and packaging process. When entering the body, these substances have the potential to cause many serious health consequences for children's long-term development.

To achieve the Purity Award, the dairy company applied scientific research and invested in modern, closed processes. “No compromise on quality,” the company emphasized, is an important factor in its goal of providing products that meet standards of purity and transparency.

“We are committed to providing international standard nutrition, suitable for the health of Vietnamese consumers and children,” the representative affirmed.

To meet international standards, a closed, strict chain is what Vinamilk always aims for. Powdered milk products are produced at the Vietnam Powdered Milk Super Factory and Dielac Milk Factory. Both apply a closed, almost completely automated process. The company invests in a clean air supply system, positive pressure for all production areas. The sterile environment for raw materials, packaging, products from small details such as lids, spoons in each can of powdered milk is also focused on to ensure milk quality and food hygiene and safety.

Focus on developing products suitable for the physical condition of Vietnamese children.

Vinamilk is also one of the pioneers in producing packaging in-house to eliminate the risk of heavy metal contamination from packaging into the product. Powdered milk will be completely “isolated”, ensuring clean, sterile air throughout the production process. Thanks to that, the factory can easily control the risk of pollution and toxic contamination.
