MU offers shocking price to sell Hojlund

Hojlund may no longer be in MU's plans.

According to the Guardian , Manchester United are willing to listen to offers from just £30m for striker Rasmus Hojlund. This is a shocking figure when the club spent up to £64m plus £8m in additional fees to bring the player from Atalanta in the summer of 2023.

In the context of needing to add a top-class striker and rebuild the squad this summer, MU is looking to raise transfer funds. Selling Hijlund at a loss is one of the options being considered.

Another possibility is to bring Hojlund back to Serie A. Juventus are said to have begun preliminary talks over a summer deal, while the Old Trafford club are also open to selling Marcus Rashford (around £40m), Jadon Sancho (£20m) and Antony (£30m).

In the opposite direction, MU is pursuing Wolves striker Matheus Cunha with a release clause of 62.5 million pounds. The "Red Devils" hope to use money from selling players to complete this deal.

After nearly two seasons at Old Trafford, Hojlund has failed to live up to expectations. He has only scored 24 goals in 88 games in all competitions, including just 13 goals in 58 Premier League games.

In the context that MU is at risk of missing out on European Cup next season, selling names that do not meet expectations may be the only solution to balance finances and rebuild the force.
