Instead of organizing at Viet Tri Stadium or My Dinh Stadium, the Vietnam Football Federation has decided to move the match between Vietnam and Laos to Binh Duong Stadium. The match will take place on March 25 (the Organizing Committee has not announced the specific time).
In particular, the match will be broadcast live on FPT Play, according to the copyright contract in Vietnam signed between FPT Play and its partner. According to this contract, all matches of the Vietnam team at home in tournaments from 2024 to 2027 will be broadcast live by FPT Play (this means that, in addition to the match with the Laos team on March 25, Vietnamese audiences will be able to watch the match between Vietnam and Nepal on October 9, also at Binh Duong Stadium; Vietnam and Malaysia on March 31, 2026).

The Vietnam national team is expected to regroup in mid-March 2025, with some personnel changes as midfielder Xuan Son is unable to play due to his injury recovery.
