(NLDO) – The price of gold today, just opening the new trading week, has dropped by tens of USD/ounce on the international market, to around 2,674 USD/ounce.
On the morning of November 11, the world gold price was trading at 2,674 USD/ounce, down about 10 USD/ounce compared to the closing price at the end of the week. Today's gold price plummeted as soon as trading opened.
The price of gold in the international market continued its downward trend at the end of last week and as predicted by analysts, the precious metal is expected to continue to decline.

Affected by the downward trend of world gold prices, the prices of SJC gold bars and 99.99 gold rings of all kinds also decreased. SJC Gold Company listed the buying price of SJC gold bars at 82 million VND/tael and the selling price at 85.5 million VND/tael, down 300,000 VND/tael compared to yesterday.
The price of 99.99 gold rings and 24K jewelry gold was also adjusted down by SJC Company to 82 million VND/tael for buying and 84.5 million VND/tael for selling, "evaporating" another 300,000 VND/tael compared to the end of yesterday.
Some other businesses such as DOJI and PNJ have not adjusted the price of gold rings but still maintain it at a high level of over 85 million VND/tael.
According to analysts, gold prices may continue to decline to the $2,600/ounce range in the short term, although the general market trend in the late this year and early 2025 is to continue to increase.
Gold prices are supported by the US and many other countries' interest rate cuts, and the Middle East conflict remains tense.
However, in the short term, the USD index increased strongly and remained high above the 104.8 point zone, putting pressure on gold prices.
Currently, the world gold price converted according to the listed exchange rate is about 82.2 million VND/tael.
