Initial information said that at around 10:00 p.m. on April 21, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department of Dak Lak Province received information about a large fire at house number 41, Phan Boi Chau Street (Thang Loi Ward, Buon Ma Thuot City).

Immediately, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department of Dak Lak Province mobilized 14 officers and soldiers along with many fire prevention and fighting vehicles to the scene.

Upon arrival, firefighters discovered the fire was coming from the ground floor, with a lot of smoke and toxic gas in the house.

Due to the fire on the first floor, the couple Mr. Nguyen Bi (born in 1956) and Mrs. Nguyen Thi Bao Loi (born in 1957, homeowner) were trapped on the 4th floor.

At this time, the fire brigade used professional equipment to break down the door to approach and extinguish the fire on the ground floor. At the same time, they used a ladder truck to successfully rescue the homeowner couple from the 4th floor to safety.
