On the afternoon of February 3, a representative of the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department of Hanoi City Police said that the unit had promptly rescued 7 people trapped in a fire at a motel in Cau Giay District.

Accordingly, at around 7:34 a.m. the same day, a fire broke out at a 6-story rental house at address 5, lane 9, alley 105, Doan Ke Thien street, Mai Dich ward, Cau Giay district.

Immediately after receiving the report, the City Police Command Information Center urgently mobilized officers and soldiers from the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Team of Cau Giay District Police and the Fire Prevention and Rescue Team of Area 2 (Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department of City Police) to the scene to coordinate with local authorities and people to organize fire fighting and rescue.

The fire broke out on the second floor of the house with many flammable objects, emitting a lot of toxic smoke and gas, with some people trapped inside.

The Fire Police and Rescue Force focused on rescuing people and quickly coordinated to put out the fire and prevent it from spreading.

Authorities promptly and safely rescued 7 people trapped inside through the roof to the house next door and brought them to safety. Currently, the health and mental state of the 7 victims are stable.

By about 8am, the fire was completely extinguished, with no casualties.

Authorities are currently verifying and clarifying the cause of the fire.
