Vinh Phuc completes military recruitment target in 2025

In 2025, Tam Duong district was assigned the target of selecting and calling 239 citizens to join the army and participate in the People's Public Security service, assigned to 8 military units including the Command for the Protection of President Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum; General Staff; Border Guard Training Center; Air Defense - Air Force; Armored Corps; Artillery Corps; Brigade 406, Military Region 2; Provincial Public Security.

With the participation of the entire political system, the entire district has recruited 100% of the assigned quota, ensuring the reserve rate according to regulations, the quality of new recruits is increasingly improved. Of which, more than 64% of the army has achieved health level 1 and 2; high school education level or higher accounts for more than 90%; the rate of volunteer applications is nearly 80%.

Speaking to encourage new recruits, Chairman of Tam Duong District People's Committee Dang Cong Hoa congratulated the district's outstanding young men who were recruited for military service and People's Public Security service in 2025.

He hoped that the new recruits would uphold the traditions of their homeland, strive to study, train, and complete their assigned tasks well. Local authorities and party committees will always pay attention to and implement military rear policies well through many practical activities, especially for new recruits with difficult circumstances, helping them feel secure in carrying out their tasks. At the same time, they will support and create conditions for job referrals for discharged soldiers.

In 2025, Vinh Yen city was assigned to select and call 158 young people to join the army, including 133 young people joining the army and 25 citizens performing the People's Public Security service.

To successfully complete the military recruitment task, the Military Service Council of the city and localities have strictly and legally implemented the steps in the process of selecting and calling citizens to join the army.

Along with that, all levels, sectors and organizations from the city to the grassroots have promoted propaganda work, raised awareness and responsibility of citizens about the task of building and protecting the Fatherland; well implemented the military rear policy, cared for and encouraged families and new soldiers before leaving for military service.

Before the enlistment day, the City Military Command and the City Political Center coordinated to organize a Party awareness training course for nearly 100 young people who were recruited for military service and performed the People's Public Security service...

With close and synchronous coordination of sectors, units and localities, Vinh Yen city has completed 100% of assigned targets, and the quality of military recruitment continues to be improved.

Speaking at the military handover ceremony, Chairman of Vinh Yen City People's Committee Nguyen Viet Phuong hoped that the new recruits would continue to uphold the revolutionary tradition of their homeland, strive to train, study, and strictly follow military discipline, and excellently complete all assigned tasks, worthy of the trust and love of the Party Committee, government and people of the city, as well as their families, relatives and friends in their hometown.

He suggested that the units receiving the recruits continue to coordinate with the locality and family to monitor, educate and train the new recruits so that they can quickly integrate into the new environment, study, train and excellently complete the assigned tasks.

All levels, sectors and localities must take care of implementing the military rear policy well, pay attention to helping military families, especially those in difficult circumstances, stabilize their lives and develop their economy so that their children can confidently carry out their duties; pay attention to solving employment problems for soldiers when they complete their service and return to their localities.

* In Vinh Tuong district:

On the morning of February 13, Vinh Tuong district held a ceremony to hand over and receive military personnel in 2025. Of the 399 young men joining the army this year, Vinh Tuong district recruited and assigned 347 young men to military units and 52 young men to the police.

The young men were sent to train, study and work at Brigade 144, General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army; Division 361, Air Defense - Air Force; Division 371, Air Defense - Air Force; Brigade 604, Military Region 2; General Staff, Military Region 2; Command of Protection of President Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and Public Security units.

With the motto "Whoever you recruit, make sure they are there", the military recruitment work in 2025 was deployed promptly and closely by Vinh Tuong district. Thanks to that, 100% of the new recruits joining the army this time have good moral qualities, meet the requirements of health and cultural level; of which 197 new recruits voluntarily wrote applications to join the army, many of them have college and university degrees.

At the military handover ceremony, leaders of Vinh Tuong district encouraged and motivated the new recruits to join the army. They hoped that the new recruits would continue to uphold the precious traditions of the nation, strive, study, train and excellently complete the assigned tasks.

Party committees at all levels, authorities, Fatherland Front Committees, mass organizations and people in the district have well implemented the military rear policy; continued to encourage, care for, and provide timely and practical support to families of new recruits in particular and soldiers in general.

* In Phuc Yen city:

In 2025, Phuc Yen city was assigned to select and call 178 citizens to join the army, of which 151 were military citizens and 27 were public security citizens.

The city achieved 100% of the assigned target, the quality of new recruits was good, ensuring sufficient conditions of health, political qualities, and cultural level. Of these, 112 young volunteers wrote applications to join the army, 138 were union members and 13 new recruits were party members.

In 2025, Song Lo district was assigned to select 217 young men to perform military service and join the People's Public Security force, distributed to the following units: Regiment 293 - Division 361 - Air Defense - Air Force; Brigade 114 - General Staff; Artillery Brigade 168 - Military Region 2; Border Guard Training Center; Provincial Public Security.
