The Announcement Ceremony is the final point of the Vietnam Innovation Challenge 2023 program. The program's 12 highest award categories are the most typical and potential innovative solutions that can strongly promote the digital transformation process of businesses, carefully evaluated by the program's selection board through many rounds of training and direct interviews.
According to the Organizing Committee, through the journey of finding innovative solutions for Vietnam 2023, the Innovation Challenge program has resonated and created strong attraction through impressive numbers.
This year, with the theme "Innovation with Digital Transformation enterprises, participating in the global value chain", the program attracted 758 digital transformation solutions and products sent from 10 countries and territories with dynamic and developed innovation ecosystems.
More than 70 leading experts in the fields of innovation, technology, business management, market development, investment... accompany. More than 30 committed and accompanying units, including many large corporations, investment funds, and prestigious business support organizations.
Speaking at the ceremony, Minister of Planning and Investment Nguyen Chi Dung said that recently, the Government has resolutely directed ministries, branches and localities to implement many solutions to remove difficulties, promote growth, maintain macroeconomic stability, and support affected businesses and workers.
The Minister of Planning and Investment informed that, as a general advisory body on socio-economic development, the Ministry of Planning and Investment has proposed many solutions and programs to support businesses in digital transformation and develop the national innovation ecosystem.
Minister Nguyen Chi Dung suggested: "In order for innovation to be substantive, effective, and widespread, in addition to the direction and orientation from the Party and State, the attention and coordination of ministries, central and local agencies, and the participation of businesses, the cooperation and consensus of the whole society is needed.
In the coming time, the Vietnamese business community needs to pay attention to and put into use the typical solutions that have been announced. I highly appreciate the coordination and companionship of partner Meta and important partners such as VNPT, CMC, FPT, SVF, Phygital Labs who have actively participated in the Vietnam Innovation Challenge Program in many roles."

Mr. Simon Milner, Vice President of Public Policy for Asia-Pacific at Meta Group, said that the digital ecosystem is growing strongly thanks to Vietnam's hardworking and creative entrepreneurs. Along with that is the support from the Government's right policies to encourage digital transformation. This is something to be very proud of.
“Meta is committed to supporting innovation in Vietnam’s digital economy. The projects awarded at today’s ceremony will help build a more prosperous Vietnam in the decades to come,” he stressed.
The Vietnam Innovation Challenge (VIC) is a program to realize the vision of the Vietnam Innovation Initiative (InnovateVN), chaired by the Ministry of Planning and Investment, organized by NIC in collaboration with Meta Group. The program aims to seek innovative solutions from organizations/individuals around the world to address important national challenges, towards a prosperous and sustainable Vietnam. |
The Announcement Ceremony honored 12 outstanding innovative solutions, representing 12 award categories that strongly promote the digital transformation process of businesses.
These typical innovative solutions represent 3 groups of subjects: large corporations and enterprises; innovative small and medium enterprises and startups and innovative projects.
The solutions not only received high praise from the selection committee, but also helped businesses "unlock" more effective approaches, optimize processes and create practical value for society.
Also at the event, the Vietnam Innovation Challenge Program 2024 was officially launched by Minister Nguyen Chi Dung with the theme "Innovation with businesses to promote the semiconductor industry and smart manufacturing to conquer the global market".
The program aims to cooperate, create new ideas and take advantage of the potential of the semiconductor industry and smart manufacturing, businesses can achieve outstanding success and contribute to the sustainable development of the country.
