On July 31, within the framework of the Vietnam - India Business Forum held in New Delhi, Vietjet was pleased to welcome its 200 millionth passenger and announced a new route Ahmedabad - Da Nang.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, along with senior leaders and business communities from both countries, congratulated Vietjet on welcoming its 200 millionth passenger and welcoming the new route during the Prime Minister’s State visit to India. Vietjet’s 200 millionth passenger was an Indian businessman, Mr. Sandeep Mehta. Vietjet offered this special guest 01 year of free international flights.

On this occasion, Vietjet also announced the opening of a flight route connecting Ahmedabad, India, with Da Nang - the most livable city in Vietnam . The new route is expected to serve passengers from October 2024. Ahmedabad is the largest city in the state of Gujarat, beautiful and ancient in its own way with architectural works from ancient to modern. Gujarat is the headquarters of many large Indian enterprises investing in Vietnam. Meanwhile, Da Nang offers a Central Vietnam heritage journey experience with world heritage sites, beautiful beaches, luxury resorts...
