According to Kitco, the world gold price recorded at 4:30 a.m. today, Vietnam time, was 2,649.79 USD/ounce. Today's gold price increased by 0.66% compared to yesterday. Converted to the USD exchange rate, on the free market (25,733 VND/USD), the world gold price is about 82.2 million VND/tael (excluding taxes and fees). Thus, the price of SJC gold bars is 3.5 million VND/tael higher than the international gold price.

Gold prices rose for a third straight session on Tuesday and hit a one-week high, as investors sought safe haven in the metal amid heightened geopolitical uncertainty due to escalating tensions between Russia and Ukraine.
Geopolitical tensions are rising as Russian President Vladimir Putin lowers the threshold for a nuclear strike in response to conventional attacks on a broader scale.
“ Clearly that has sparked safe-haven interest. I see the inverse correlation reoccurring in recent weeks and see the strength of the dollar as a minor headwind for gold prices going forward, ” said Peter Grant, vice president and senior metals strategist at Zaner Metals.
The dollar rebounded, reviving the “Trump Trade” rally after a three-day slide, limiting gains in dollar-denominated gold by making it more expensive for overseas buyers. Gold posted its biggest weekly drop in more than three years last week as the dollar index hit a one-year high.
Investors are also focused on a number of Federal Reserve officials scheduled to speak this week. Market expectations for a December rate cut have dropped significantly, with the odds now at 55.7%, down from 82.5% just a week ago.
“ The Fed’s pause in rate cuts in December could keep gold prices in check in the short term, but the easing monetary cycle, macroeconomic and geopolitical uncertainty and healthy physical demand should keep sentiment positive in the gold market, ” ANZ said in a note.
Brokerages say US President-elect Donald Trump's proposed tariffs would cause volatility in global markets, stoking inflationary pressures and in turn limiting the ability of major central banks to ease monetary policy.
Gold bullion is seen as a hedge against inflation, but higher interest rates reduce the appeal of holding the non-yielding asset.
Among other metals, spot silver fell 0.9% to $30.92 an ounce, platinum fell 1.8% to $956.87 and palladium fell 1.8% to $1,016.73.
