SJC gold and 9999 rings continuously set new peaks

On the afternoon of March 8, SJC gold turned to increase again after a slight decrease in the morning session, rising to its highest level ever. The price of 9999 gold rings continued to increase strongly and also set a historical peak.

Domestic gold price sets historic peak on March 8

At around 5 p.m. in Ho Chi Minh City, SJC Company continued to increase the price of 9999 gold rings by 350,000 VND for both buying and selling compared to the morning, to 67.35 million VND/tael for buying and 68.6 million VND/tael for selling; a total increase of 450,000 VND for both buying and selling compared to the previous day.

Similarly, PNJ Company also increased the buying price by 450,000 VND and the selling price by 400,000 VND compared to the morning, up to 67.35 million VND/tael for buying and 68.65 million VND/tael for selling; a total increase of 500,000 VND for both buying and selling compared to the previous day. This is the highest price of 9999 gold rings ever of these two businesses in Ho Chi Minh City.

At the same time in Hanoi, Bao Tin Minh Chau Company continued to increase by 400,000 VND in both buying and selling prices compared to this morning, up to 68.23 million VND/tael for buying and 69.43 million VND/tael for selling; a total increase of 550,000 VND in both directions compared to the previous day. This is the business trading the highest price of 9999 gold rings in the market today and setting a historical peak for 9999 gold rings.

This afternoon, the price of SJC gold was also adjusted up by gold trading enterprises. Only 80,000 VND more and SJC gold will reach 82 million VND/tael.

Specifically, in Ho Chi Minh City, Doji Group increased by 200,000 VND/tael for both buying and selling compared to this morning, to 79.85 million VND/tael for buying and 81.85 million VND/tael for selling.

In Hanoi, SJC Company listed the price at 79.9 million VND/tael for buying and 81.92 million VND/tael for selling, an increase of 200,000 VND for both buying and selling compared to this morning and an increase of 100,000 VND/tael compared to the previous day, establishing the highest SJC gold price ever.

In the world gold market, the spot gold price on the Kitco floor on the afternoon of March 8 (Vietnam time) skyrocketed to 2,170.1 USD/ounce, up 12 USD compared to this morning. Thus, the world gold price has also set a historical peak. This price after conversion is equivalent to nearly 65 million VND/tael, lower than SJC gold by about 16.9 million VND/tael and lower than the price of 9999 gold rings by about 3.9 - 4.4 million VND/tael.
