Accordingly, the Russian Language major considers the D03 combination (Math, Literature, French), the Portuguese Language major considers the D04 combination (Math, Literature, Chinese) and the Information Technology major (standard and advanced programs) considers the scores of the following subjects: Math, English and Information Technology.
Dr. Nguyen Tien Dung, Vice President of Hanoi University, informed that this change aims to increase opportunities for candidates and create more sources of enrollment for some majors. At the same time, this is also consistent with the subject combinations and graduation exam subjects of the new high school program.
The old admission combinations D01 (Math, Literature, English); D02 (Math, Literature, Russian); D03 (Math, Literature, French); D04 (Math, Literature, Chinese), D05 (Math, Literature, German); D06 (Math, Literature, Japanese) and DD2 (Math, Literature, Korean) will be kept the same as the 2024 admission plan.
Besides, Hanoi University still uses the A01 combination (Math, Physics, English) with some non-language majors such as: Information Technology (taught in English), Information Technology (taught in English/advanced program) and Financial Technology (taught in English).
This year, Hanoi University still maintains the same three admission methods as last year, including: direct admission and priority admission according to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training; combined admission according to school regulations; admission based on the results of the 2025 High School Graduation Exam.
Regarding the admission principles, candidates must register their wishes for all admission methods on the system of the Ministry of Education and Training according to the general plan and instructions. Candidates who do not register their wishes on the system of the Ministry of Education and Training will not be considered for admission.
Details of the enrollment plan will be announced by Hanoi University in the near future.
