Over 18.5 billion VND to implement the housing support project for people with revolutionary contributions and martyrs' relatives

(VLO) The Provincial People's Committee has just decided to approve the housing support project for people with revolutionary contributions and relatives of martyrs in the province in 2025.

Accordingly, the State directly supports households with one or more people with meritorious services to the revolution, relatives of martyrs whose houses are damaged or dilapidated (including households that have been supported under other policies in the past, except for households that have been supported under Decision No. 22/2013/QD-TTg dated April 26, 2013 of the Prime Minister on housing support for people with meritorious services to the revolution) so that these households can build new houses or renovate and repair existing houses, ensuring improved housing conditions for people with meritorious services to the revolution, relatives of martyrs.

The beneficiaries are according to the list approved by the People's Committee of Vinh Long province in Decision No. 2670/QD-UBND dated December 25, 2024 on approving the results of synthesizing the need to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in the province. The level of support from the state budget (100% of the central budget); in which: support of 60 million VND/household for the case of building new houses and support of 30 million VND/household for the case of renovating and repairing houses.

The total number of households of people with revolutionary contributions and martyrs' relatives needing support in the whole province is 562 households (equivalent to 562 houses), including 56 newly built houses and 506 renovated and repaired houses with a total support cost of more than 18.5 billion VND.
