On April 15, the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee held a ceremony to announce the decision to merge and transfer the grassroots Party Committees directly under the City Party Committee according to the plan of the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee.
Comrade Nguyen Ho Hai, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee chaired the ceremony. Also attending was Comrade Van Thi Bach Tuyet, Head of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee's Organization Board.
At the ceremony, Comrade Thai Thi Bich Lien, Deputy Head of the Organizing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, announced the decisions on the arrangement and merger of Party organizations of the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee. Accordingly, the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee decided to merge the Party Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Banking Bloc, including 20 grassroots Party organizations and 2,188 Party members, into the Party Committee of the Central Agencies Bloc in Ho Chi Minh City.
Also according to this decision, the Party Executive Committee, the Party Standing Committee, the Party Secretary, and the Deputy Party Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Banking Bloc for the 2020-2025 term have ended their terms.
Comrade Thai Thi Bich Lien also announced the decision of the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee on transferring the Party Committee of Saigon Pharmaceutical Company Limited, including 15 grassroots Party organizations and 393 Party members from the grassroots Party Committee directly under the City Party Committee to the grassroots Party Committee directly under the Party Committee of the City Business Bloc.
At the ceremony, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Nguyen Ho Hai assessed that in the initial period of changing work positions, there will be certain difficulties, but he believes that the grassroots Party organizations receiving the decision this time will approach the work soon and perform well the assigned tasks.
He requested that the activities of Party organizations after the reorganization and merger must be strict. The grassroots Party organizations continue to monitor, review job positions and arrange suitable job positions after the reorganization.
At the same time, support and care for comrades who continue to participate and do not continue to participate in the Party Committee.
Comrade Nguyen Ho Hai also noted to make maximum use of Party regulations to carry out activities to build a clean and strong Party organization.
