Mongolian President visits and works at Luong Son Industrial Park, Hoa Binh

On behalf of the provincial leaders, Comrade Nguyen Phi Long, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee expressed his joy to welcome the delegation to visit and work at Luong Son Industrial Park. Wishing the President and the delegation a joyful visit to Hoa Binh province. Hopefully, Hoa Binh province will leave a good impression on Mongolian President Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh and the delegation.

At the meeting, An Thinh Hoa Binh Real Estate Joint Stock Company introduced the general construction and development process of Luong Son Industrial Park, which was granted an Investment Certificate in 2007, with an area of 83 hectares and a total investment of 350 billion VND, which has been invested in synchronous construction.

After more than 15 years of construction and development, this is the first industrial park in Hoa Binh province to have filled 100% of its area. Currently, Luong Son Industrial Park has attracted 39 investment projects, including 17 foreign investment projects with a total registered capital of over 230 million USD and 22 domestic investment projects with a registered capital of 2,690 billion VND.

Projects in Luong Son Industrial Park have contributed new products to the province's industry such as auto parts, solar batteries, construction aluminum and glass, steel, export garment products, and agricultural products. Contributing to economic restructuring, promoting economic and social development, creating jobs for about 15,000 workers, mainly local workers; average income of more than 6.5 million VND/person/month (equivalent to nearly 300 USD/person/month). Revenue in the first 9 months of 2023 of factories in the industrial park was 13,182.6 billion VND, export reached 499.09 million USD, budget contribution was 144.66 billion VND, equivalent to 6.28 million USD.

Currently, many enterprises in industrial zones are in the period of corporate income tax exemption and reduction. Within 3 years, the budget revenue is expected to far exceed the current figure.
