The "Vietnam Business Innovation Challenge" - VBIC season 2 has officially returned with a completely new theme - "Creating from tradition".
With the theme “Building from Tradition”, VBIC 2025 challenges the younger generation to redefine traditional business values through creative and innovative thinking. Based on the principle of putting people at the center, combining a multidisciplinary approach and practical problem solving, the competition brings business challenges close to reality, encouraging students to collaborate to find solutions.
Throughout the journey, young people will receive dedicated guidance from a team of experienced advisors, including founders, board chairmen, directors and senior leaders from prestigious businesses.
Participants are students aged 14-18 (at the time of registration) and studying at high schools in the Southeast Asia region.
Students have basic knowledge or interest in one of the following areas: Business Foundations; Economics and Finance; Problem-solving and analytical skills. Fluent in English, to solve the tasks of the competition entirely in English.
Students register in teams of 3 members.
Candidates go through 3 rounds of competition.
Round 1: Selecting documents (from March 5 to March 14): After receiving the topic of the real business challenge of the enterprise, the teams will have 20 days to send back to the Organizing Committee a video presenting the analysis and solution of the group.
Round 2: Selection (from March 24 to April 5): After receiving the real-life business challenge, the teams will have 15 hours to prepare and submit their analysis and solutions. The teams will then present their results online to the judges.
Round 3: Final (expected April 19): After receiving the topic of the real business challenge of the enterprise, the teams will have 3 hours to prepare, then present their results offline to the judges.
The prize is a 4-year university scholarship worth more than 8.4 billion VND. A partial scholarship for four years of undergraduate study at Fulbright University Vietnam, worth 60% for the first prize winning team, 50% for the second prize winning team and 40% for the third prize winning team. Tuition exemption for a 1-week special training program at Fulbright University Vietnam, worth 135 million VND in total.
In addition, short-term course scholarships from the University of Adelaide worth a total of 24 million VND for the Top 2 teams. Opportunities for exclusive mentoring and coaching for the Top 10 and Top 50 best teams. In addition, the competition also has many other in-kind prizes and support.
Organized by Olympia High School in collaboration with Fulbright University Vietnam, VBIC is a creative playground exclusively for high school students in Vietnam and Southeast Asia. After the success of season 1 with the participation of 260 teams, 780 contestants from more than 10 countries and territories, VBIC 2025 promises to continue to bring unique solutions from future creators.
