In October 2022, the first three officers of the Ministry of Public Security of Working Group No. 1, including: Colonel Le Quoc Huy, Head of the United Nations Peacekeeping Team in South Sudan, Lieutenant Colonel Vu Viet Hung and Lieutenant Colonel Luong Thi Tra Vinh, left for South Sudan to participate in United Nations peacekeeping activities at the UNMISS Mission (UNMISS - United Nations Peacekeeping Mission in South Sudan). In an international working environment, the three officers work individually, closely coordinating with international colleagues.

The working group has promoted its qualities, capacity, and expertise, quickly adapted to the working conditions and environment, and has been highly appreciated by the leaders and commanders of the Mission and the United Nations. In addition, the officers have spread the beautiful image of the country and people of Vietnam as friendly, hospitable, and peace-loving to international friends and colleagues.

When we completed our mission and returned home, we were welcomed by our leaders, teammates and relatives in a solemn and warm atmosphere, which was a great source of encouragement for each member of the working group.
