At the reception, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Van Minh expressed his pleasure when the delegation visited and worked with Binh Duong province in the beginning of the new year 2025; at the same time, he affirmed the good cooperative relationship between Vietnam and Korea over the past time. The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee said that Korea currently ranks 5th out of 65 countries and territories investing in Binh Duong with 776 projects and a total capital of 3.45 billion USD. Binh Duong has also established twin cities with Daejeon city, Gangnam district, Seoul (Korea) . In recent times, exchange and cooperation activities between Binh Duong and localities of Korea have been very active and effective.

To support Binh Duong in developing science and technology and innovation, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee hopes that the Global Innovation Research Institute will be a bridge for Binh Duong to cooperate with Korean institutes and schools in training high-quality human resources; at the same time, promoting investment projects in Binh Duong.
