On February 21, Cao Bang Provincial Police held a conference to announce the decision of the Provincial Police Director on personnel work.

Accordingly, 24 department and district-level leaders of Cao Bang Provincial Police received retirement decisions, including: 1 district police chief, 10 department heads and 13 deputy department heads.

Notably, among the above cases, 14 people have less than 30 months of service left, 10 people have from 30 to less than 60 months of service left; 6 officers have dedicated over 40 years in the People's Public Security force.

The retirement decisions are implemented according to the Ministry of Public Security's project on continuing to arrange and streamline the organization of the local police apparatus to operate effectively and efficiently, meeting the requirements and tasks in the new period and preparing personnel for Party Congresses at all levels in the Provincial Police.

On behalf of the officers receiving the retirement decision, Senior Lieutenant Colonel Dam Be Hien, former Head of the Inspection Committee of the Provincial Police Party Committee, expressed his emotion and pride in being able to contribute to the People's Police force.

Sharing about his plans after retirement, Senior Colonel Dam Be Hien affirmed that although he no longer works in the industry, when he retires, he will continue to join the movement of All People Protecting National Security, actively contributing to the work of ensuring security and order in the locality.

Speaking at the conclusion of the conference, Colonel Vu Hong Quang, Director of the Provincial Police Department, emphasized that the Party Committee, the Provincial Police Department Board of Directors and all officers and soldiers respect and acknowledge the sense of responsibility of the 24 officers who received early retirement decisions.

"When retiring, officers have the right to be proud of their great contributions to the development of Cao Bang Provincial Police as well as the People's Police force," Colonel Vu Hong Quang emphasized.
