Expressing his pleasure at meeting Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Nikolayevich Chernyshenko again after the 24th Session of the Vietnam-Russia Intergovernmental Committee on Economic -Trade and Scientific-Technological Cooperation (April 2023), Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha believed that the meetings and working sessions of Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Nikolayevich Chernyshenko within the framework of President Vladimir Putin's official State visit to Vietnam at the invitation of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, will contribute to promoting cooperation in many fields at a higher and deeper level between Vietnam and the Russian Federation.
Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha said that since the 24th Session of the Vietnam-Russia Intergovernmental Committee on Economic-Trade and Scientific-Technological Cooperation, the agreements in the Minutes of the Session have been implemented by both sides. Especially in traditional areas of cooperation such as: Diplomacy , trade, energy, education and training, science and technology, culture, sports and tourism, etc. Notably, the two sides have made efforts to research and propose feasible solutions to resolve difficulties and obstacles when implementing new areas of cooperation.
Russian and Vietnamese businesses have had many proposals and initiatives to promote investment and business in both countries.
Thanking Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha for taking the time to meet him, Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Nikolayevich Chernyshenko discussed in detail measures to expand the activities, investment and business sectors of enterprises of the two countries based on the strengths of each country such as oil and gas, energy, agricultural products, pharmaceuticals, mechanical products, tourism, etc.
The two Deputy Prime Ministers also agreed that both sides need to implement practical activities and projects to promote cultural and educational values, people-to-people exchanges, and cooperation between localities.
