Nghi Son Economic Zone is divided into 55 sub-zones, including 25 industrial sub-zones, with an area of about 9,057.9 hectares.
The Prime Minister visited and encouraged officials and workers working at Nghi Son Economic Zone.
Here, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh visited, presented gifts and encouraged officials, experts, engineers, workers and laborers working at Nghi Son Refinery and Petrochemical Plant.
Reporting to the Prime Minister, the representative of Nghi Son Refinery and Petrochemical Company Limited said that Nghi Son Refinery and Petrochemical Plant is a joint venture project invested by large domestic and international corporations, including Vietnam National Oil and Gas Group (PVN), Kuwait Petroleum International Company KPI (Kuwait) and Mitsui Chemicals Company (Japan).
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and the Government delegation worked at Nghi Son Economic Zone.
Nghi Son Refinery and Petrochemical Plant has just completed its first general maintenance safely and has resumed supplying products to the market since October 12, 2023.
