Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has just signed Decision No. 499/QD-TTg dated May 13, 2023 re-appointing Mr. Dang Hoang An to hold the position of Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade.

Previously, in Decision No. 529/QD-TTg dated May 15, 2018, the Prime Minister appointed Mr. Dang Hoang An to hold the position of Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade.
Deputy Minister Dang Hoang An undertakes the following tasks:
Directing work in the fields of oil and gas, coal; finance, business innovation, market management, office work.
Directing work in the fields of electricity, renewable energy; national defense and defense industry; crime prevention;
In charge of bilateral relations and market development, issues related to trade dispute settlement and anti-dumping and anti-subsidy abroad for Vietnamese goods in European countries.
Head of Crime Prevention Steering Committee.
In charge of party and mass organization work.
On behalf of the Ministry, direct the Industry and Trade sector of the provinces and cities: Hanoi, Hai Phong, Bac Ninh, Hai Duong, Vinh Phuc, Hung Yen, Thai Binh, Nam Dinh, Ha Nam, Ninh Binh, Ha Giang, Cao Bang, Bac Kan, Tuyen Quang, Lao Cai, Yen Bai, Thai Nguyen, Lang Son, Bac Giang, Phu Tho, Quang Ninh, Hoa Binh, Son La, Dien Bien, Lai Chau.
Directly direct the Ministry Office, the Department of Finance and Enterprise Innovation, the Department of Oil, Gas and Coal, the Department of European - American Markets (for work related to the European market), the Department of Energy Saving and Sustainable Development, the Electricity Regulatory Authority, the Department of Electricity and Renewable Energy, the General Department of Market Management, the Office of the National Steering Committee for Electricity Development, the Office of the State Steering Committee for Key Oil and Gas Projects. On behalf of the Ministry, direct the implementation of state management in the Coal - Mineral sector. Participate with the Minister in directing the implementation of state management in the Oil, Gas and Electricity sectors.
Chairman of councils, heads of other steering committees in related fields. Undertake other tasks assigned by the Minister.
