Tay Ninh Tax Department said that in January 2025, the state budget revenue was 1,760 billion VND, and the estimated revenue in February 2025 was 700 billion VND. The accumulated revenue in the first two months of 2025 was 2,460 billion VND, 21.5% higher than the estimate assigned by the Provincial People's Council and People's Committee; an increase of 15.7% compared to the same period in 2024.

As of January 31, 2025, tax refunds of VND 277,547 billion have been made, of which value-added tax refunds of VND 277,534 billion have been made.

The tax debt as of January 31, 2025 is about VND 560.4 billion, an increase of more than VND 27.4 billion compared to December 31, 2024, corresponding to an increase of 5.16%. The reason for the increase in debt is the increase in new debt for some enterprises. In addition, there are still some enterprises with large debts that have not been recovered, such as: Saigon Tay Nam Trading Joint Stock Company (about VND 165.6 billion), SP Xa Mat Tax-Free Joint Stock Company (about VND 9.7 billion).

Tay Ninh Tax Department said that the tax collection task for March 2025 is at least 950 billion VND. To complete the state budget collection task for February and March 2025, the Tax sector will step up inspection and examination of enterprises in industries and fields with high tax risks and large revenue potential; strengthen prevention of fraud in trade, transfer pricing, related-party transactions, business activities on digital platforms, real estate transfers, etc.

At the same time, continue to advise the Provincial People's Committee and the Steering Committee for preventing revenue loss and recovering tax arrears to direct local sectors and levels in revenue management and preventing budget revenue loss, especially for the transfer of two-price real estate to create a healthy real estate market; promptly collect tax debts and land use fees owed to the State budget.
