From June 17, the Northern Delta will enter a new heat wave. In particular, from June 18-21, this area is likely to experience widespread heat.

For the Central region, today and tomorrow, in the area from Nghe An to Quang Ngai, there will be hot weather with the highest temperature of the day around 35-36 degrees, some places over 36 degrees; the lowest relative humidity is 55-65%.

The hot weather in this area is forecast to continue for many days. During the hot days, in the late afternoon in the mountainous areas of the Central region, there is a possibility of thunderstorms with tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind.

Assessing the weather situation in the next 7 days (from the night of June 15 to 23) in the Central region, the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting said that in the first 2 days, in the evening and at night there will be scattered showers and thunderstorms, and during the day it will be hot, with some places experiencing intense heat. However, from June 17 onwards, the region will experience exceptionally intense heat.

Previously, the meteorological agency also predicted that from the second half of June, heat waves would increase again in the North and widespread heat waves would continue to last in the Central region.

Notably, during this time, storms/tropical depressions are likely to be active in the East Sea and affect the Northern and North Central regions.

As for the Central Highlands and the South, due to the rainy season, the weather will remain sunny during the day, with showers and thunderstorms in some places in the afternoon and evening. Specifically, from June 17, there will be showers and scattered thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening, with heavy rain in some places.
