Some popular products are sold in supermarkets and electronics stores such as: Halogen heating lamps, infrared heating fans, ceramic heaters, oil heaters. The price is quite reasonable, ranging from 300 thousand VND - 3 million VND/product depending on the type.
Stores have offered attractive promotions and shocking discounts, but many customers are still indifferent to this item. Purchasing power has decreased compared to the same period in previous years. Ms. Nguyen Thi Phuong - Manager of Media Mart Store in Gia Cam Ward, Viet Tri City said: "Although they have been displayed in visible areas, heating equipment is still selling slowly this year. Sales of this item are only about 60 - 70 products/month. Every year, this number is about a few hundred products".
The reason is that most people have purchased heating equipment since the beginning of the cold spell. Along with that, this is the beginning of spring, the cold spells are forecast to gradually decrease, so the demand has also decreased. Mr. Trieu Quang Hung - Consultant of Dien May Xanh Store in Tan Dan Ward, Viet Tri City said: "Currently, the heating function has been integrated into other equipment such as two-way air conditioners. In urban areas, the trend of building new houses has installed heating systems, so the demand for heating equipment also tends to decrease".

Along with that, the fierce competition of e-commerce platforms makes it difficult to buy heating equipment in particular and electrical appliances in supermarket chains and retail stores. Surveying a round of major e-commerce platforms such as Shopee, Tiktok Shop, Lazada, Tiki... the prices of heating equipment are somewhat cheaper. Shopping is more convenient, so it is favored by consumers.
Using heating devices helps protect health in the cold season. However, consumers need to pay attention to choosing quality products, with clear origin, using them properly to increase the life of the device and ensure safety for users.
