International markets plummet

According to records this afternoon (April 7), domestic gold prices were basically stable, only gold prices at Bao Tin Minh Chau Company Limited increased by 300 thousand VND/tael in the buying direction. Meanwhile, world gold prices decreased rapidly when falling from 3,036 USD/ounce to 2,987 USD/ounce, losing 55 USD/ounce this morning.

SJC gold in Hanoi and Da Nang: 97.1 million VND/tael for buying, 100.1 million VND/tael for selling.

SJC Phu Quy Gold: 97.3 million VND/tael for buying, 100.1 million VND/tael for selling.

DOJI Gold in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City: 97.1 million VND/tael for buying, 100.1 million VND/tael for selling.

PNJ Gold in Ho Chi Minh City: 97.5 million VND/tael for buying, 100.1 million VND/tael for selling.

The price of SJC gold bars and plain round gold rings at Bao Tin Minh Chau Company Limited was traded by the enterprise at 97.5 million VND/tael for buying (an increase of 300 thousand VND/tael), 100.1 million VND/tael for selling.

Today, as the new trading week opened on the international market, the price of gold plummeted, far surpassing the $3,000/ounce mark.

At 6:30 a.m. Vietnam time, the world gold price dropped rapidly from 3,036 USD/ounce to 2,987 USD/ounce, a loss of 55 USD/ounce (about 1.7 million VND/tael), continuing the downward trend at the end of last week.

Investors are rushing to sell gold, after a series of "hot" increases in recent months. Gold prices are expected to adjust down in the short term, after information related to the US's tariff policy towards other countries has been reflected in recent price fluctuations.
