Responding to the World Environment Day on June 5 every year, in order to raise awareness and responsibility of people in protecting and preserving the living environment, towards a green - clean - beautiful Phan Ri Cua town, last weekend, Phan Ri Cua town held a launching ceremony to join hands in protecting and preserving environmental sanitation with the participation of a large number of cadres, workers, civil servants, union members and association members in the area.

At the ceremony, the leaders of the People's Committee of Phan Ri Cua town emphasized the importance of protecting and maintaining environmental hygiene. Accordingly, in the past time, a part of the people still littered indiscriminately in residential areas, along the coast, causing environmental pollution, and spoiling the urban beauty. Through the launching ceremony, Phan Ri Cua town called on people in the area to raise awareness of maintaining hygiene, not littering indiscriminately, sharing responsibility, joining hands with the government in preserving the living environment, condemning acts of littering in public areas, moving towards building a green - clean - beautiful - civilized Phan Ri Cua town.

Here, the leaders of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the town and the Women's Union also responded and called on people in the neighborhoods to unite and join hands in protecting the environment. Branches, groups and associations need to step up propaganda and mobilization work among union members, association members and people to dispose of waste in the right places, periodically organize garbage collection and treatment at garbage dumping hotspots to raise people's awareness in maintaining environmental hygiene and creating urban beauty.

After the launching ceremony, Phan Ri Cua town simultaneously launched a campaign to clean up the environment at garbage dumping hotspots and main roads in the area.

At the same time, more than 100 youth union members of Phan Ri Cua town, Hoa Minh commune, Chi Cong commune, and Hoa Minh border guard branch also responded by cleaning up the environment, treating waste along the coast in the area, creating landscapes, and returning the coast to a clean and beautiful state.
