Removing difficulties and obstacles, speeding up the progress of power transmission grid projects

Attending the meeting, leaders of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee were comrade Le Hong Vinh - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; together with leaders of departments, branches and 2 districts: Que Phong and Quy Chau.

DEPLOYING MANY IMPORTANT POWER GRID PROJECTS

Currently in Nghe An province, the National Power Transmission Corporation is implementing 5 projects, including: 220kV Nam Sum - Nong Cong line; 500kV Quang Trach - Quynh Luu line; 500kV Quynh Luu - Thanh Hoa line; 220kV Nam Cam transformer station and 220kV Tuong Duong - Do Luong line.

The 220kV Nam Sum - Nong Cong Transmission Line Project, with a route section passing through two districts: Que Phong and Quy Chau with a length of 77.81 km, includes 174 column foundation locations and 52 anchor spaces. Up to now, the column foundation has handed over the site for 140/174 locations; the corridor of the line has handed over 18/52 anchor spaces.

The 500kV Quang Trach - Quynh Luu Transmission Line Project passes through the districts of Nam Dan, Nghi Loc, Dien Chau, Yen Thanh and Quynh Luu with a length of 82.59 km with 168 column foundation locations and 71 anchorage spaces. Up to now, the province has handed over the site of 168/168 locations and 22/71 anchorage spaces.

The 500kV Quynh Luu - Thanh Hoa transmission line project passing through Quynh Luu district and Hoang Mai town has a length of 17.4 km with 34 column foundation locations and 16 anchorage spaces. Up to now, the province has handed over the site for 34/34 locations and 1/16 anchorage spaces.

For the 220kV Nam Cam Transformer Station Project, the province has so far completed the inventory of 46/47 affected households; approved the compensation plan for 42/47 households with an area of ​​21,964.2m2 ^{/ 36,666m2} ; and at the same time, handed over more than 24,536 ^m2 of station area.

The National Power Transmission Corporation has also sent a document to the Provincial People's Committee to appraise the investment policy of the 220 kV Tuong Duong - Do Luong Transmission Line Project; at the same time, it has sent a document to the Nghe An Provincial People's Committee to request permission to change the purpose of forest use to build the project.

In addition, in Nghe An province, there are 5 projects of the National Power Transmission Corporation preparing for investment, including 3 projects implementing agreements on investment policies and investors, 1 project implementing investment project approval and 1 project implementing technical design approval.

At the meeting, leaders of departments, branches and localities discussed measures and timelines to resolve difficulties and problems in compensation, site clearance and conversion of forest use purposes, according to recommendations of Vietnam Electricity Group.

ACTIVE COOPERATION TO REMOVE DIFFICULTIES AND PROBLEMS

Speaking at the meeting, Chairman of the Board of Members of EVN Dang Hoang An sincerely thanked the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council and People's Committee of Nghe An province for supporting the Group and the National Power Transmission Corporation in the past time in carrying out compensation and site clearance and changing the purpose of forest use to implement projects.

After the discussion and agreement, the Chairman of the Board of Members of EVN requested that EVN's member units and departments continue to closely coordinate with departments, branches, sectors and localities of Nghe An province to complete the contents of site clearance, change of forest use purposes, and ensure project progress.

Speaking at the meeting, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Hong Vinh emphasized that Nghe An is a large province with difficult terrain. In recent times, Vietnam Electricity Group has paid attention to and invested in the construction of many projects, providing a stable power source for production, business and people's lives in the province.

During the process of implementing investment in power transmission grid projects, the People's Committee of Nghe An province has strongly directed departments, branches, sectors and localities in site clearance work; actively coordinated with units under EVN Group to remove difficulties and obstacles and achieved many remarkable results.

In the coming time, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Hong Vinh said that the Provincial People's Committee will continue to resolutely direct departments, branches and localities to complete site clearance work on schedule; at the same time, request Vietnam Electricity Group to pay attention to resolving the recommendations and proposals of the province.
