Tam Diep City celebrates Vietnamese Entrepreneurs Day

On the morning of October 12, at Thanh Nga Luxury Restaurant, Tam Diep City People's Committee held a meeting with businessmen and enterprises and celebrated the 79th anniversary of Vietnamese Businessmen's Day on October 13.

Tam Diep city leaders presented flowers to congratulate businessmen and enterprises.

Attending the ceremony were representatives of the City Party Committee, City People's Committee, Provincial Business Association; representatives of banks, partner businesses, and members of Tam Diep City Business Association.

Over the past 79 years, Ninh Binh businessmen in general and Tam Diep city businessmen in particular have made efforts and contributed to the socio-economic development of the province and the country.

In Tam Diep city, there are currently over 565 enterprises, of which over 200 are members of the City Business Association. Enterprises and entrepreneurs are always dynamic, creative, proactive in integration, affirming their position, ensuring stable and developing business, thereby creating jobs for about 40 thousand workers.

The business community in the city is increasingly affirming its position and especially important role in promoting comprehensive socio-economic development, in which many activities are very meaningful and responsible to the community and society.

Recognizing the achievements of the business community in the area, Mr. Vu Dinh Chien, Permanent Vice Chairman of Tam Diep City People's Committee emphasized: With the role and responsibility as pioneers on the economic development front, the City Business Association will further promote dynamism, creativity, firmly overcome all difficulties and challenges, develop more and more strongly, step firmly into integration, and contribute an important part in building a rich and beautiful Ninh Binh province.

Tam Diep City has many conditions for rapid development, as the General Planning Project of Tam Diep City to 2045 has been approved by the Provincial People's Committee. Accordingly, Tam Diep City is a key economic zone in the Southwest of Ninh Binh Province; a center of industry, agriculture, trade, and services in the direction of sustainable development, applying clean, modern, and diverse technology, promoting the advantages of geographical location and local traditions; an urban area developing towards a type II urban area; an important area for security and defense.

The Standing Vice Chairman of Tam Diep City People's Committee informed that the key solutions that the city will implement in the coming time are: Prioritizing the completion of the local transport network to connect and exploit the maximum advantages of key national and provincial transport routes passing through the city such as the North-South Expressway, the East-West Road, Ninh Binh Province, creating favorable development space for the city and the whole province.

Focus on developing agriculture towards commodity production, applying high technology and sustainability to traditional and key products, OCOP products bearing the brand of the people and land of Dong Giao - Tam Diep.

Speed up the implementation of Tam Diep II Industrial Park project in the direction of ecological industry combined with urban services, Ninh Binh waste-to-energy plant project in Dong Son commune.

The Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, People's Council and People's Committee of Tam City pay attention to directing, regularly meeting and listening to opinions of the business community; the city continues to reform administrative procedures, create close ties with businesses, accompany to remove difficulties, create a favorable investment environment, promote production and business development.
