Thanh Hoa welcomes 395,700 tourists

Notably, 198,200 tourists visited Sam Son city, Hai Tien Tien tourist area welcomed 57,600 visitors and 47,300 visitors came to Hai Hoa to experience Bai Dong in Nghi Son town.

Ecotourism and community tourism continue to attract tourists, with 59,500 tourists visiting Pu Luong, Ba Thuoc district; 5,000 tourists exploring Cam Luong Fish Stream and 3,000 tourists visiting the ecotourism area in Ben En.

Key relics attract spiritual tourists, to learn and research history and culture. As a result, the World Heritage Site of Ho Dynasty Citadel welcomed 10,000 visitors; 4,800 visitors came to Lam Kinh historical relic site and destinations in Thanh Hoa city also attracted 43,600 visitors.

According to the synthesis of the culture, sports and tourism sector, from August 31 to September 3, Thanh Hoa province welcomed 395,700 tourists, of which 140,500 stayed overnight, accounting for 35.5% of the total number of visitors.

Typically, Pu Luong tourist area achieved 100% room occupancy rate; Thanh Hoa city achieved 42% room occupancy rate; Sam Son tourist area achieved about 25%, Hai Tien over 35%; Hai Hoa and Nghi Son town achieved over 33% room occupancy rate.

After 4 days of holidays, Thanh Hoa achieved total tourism revenue of 870.5 billion VND, an increase of 31.3% over the same period in 2023; ensuring security and order, environmental sanitation, and food safety.
