Mrs. HBlim Byă's household in Ko Dung B village, Ea Nuol commune (Buon Don district) used to be a poor household with many children. Her family had 8 sao of coffee but the land was barren and there was no investment capital, so the income was not much. Her family's life was always difficult and struggling. In 2022, the Transaction Office of the Social Policy Bank (SPB) in Buon Don district disbursed a loan of 50 million VND to develop the family economy. She invested in buying fertilizers and pesticides to take care of 8 sao of coffee. Thanks to that, the coffee garden developed well, yielded high yields, and brought in a stable income. In 2024, her family escaped poverty and had money to build and repair the house. Up to now, in addition to coffee, her family also grows pepper, cashews and raises goats to develop the family economy.

Social policy credit capital is also an important support for the economic development of Mr. Tran Phu Hai's family in Thong Nhat village, Krong Na commune. He and his wife do not have any fields, so they have to do many jobs to raise four young children. In 2018, his family was able to borrow 20 million VND under the poor household loan program to buy cows to raise. Two years later, the income from raising cattle helped him pay off all the debt and save a little. He was given an additional loan of 40 million VND by the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies to develop livestock raising. To date, in addition to the cows sold to pay bank interest and cover living expenses, he still has 13 cows. With preferential loans from the state, Mr. Hai's family has gradually risen from poor to near-poor and officially escaped poverty in 2024.

Mr. Y Luom Knul, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Krong Na commune, said that the commune is located in a border area with barren land and harsh climate, so people's lives are still difficult. Recognizing the role of policy credit, in recent times, the locality has coordinated with the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies in reviewing and identifying loan recipients to ensure transparency and objectivity. Poor households in the locality that meet the conditions are all eligible to borrow capital to develop cultivation, livestock, build houses and build clean water works. This capital source has helped many poor households and ethnic minorities stabilize their lives; making important contributions to the implementation of national target programs on sustainable poverty reduction, new rural construction, and socio-economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas. In particular, in the period of 2021 - 2025, the commune will reduce the poverty rate by more than 10%.

Despite her disabled legs, Mrs. H Yar Kbuôr in Kala hamlet, Dray Sap commune (Krong Ana district) still keeps weaving and develops the economy from the traditional profession. The driving force for this journey is the social policy capital. From the 50 million VND borrowed under the poor household loan program, she opened a brocade weaving facility. In addition to traditional hand-woven brocade fabrics, the facility also produces many other products such as clothes, baskets, backpacks, etc. In addition to developing the family economy, Mrs. H Yar Kbuôr's shop also creates additional jobs for 10 women in the hamlet with an income of 5 million VND/person/month.

For young man Vu Dinh Triu (An Na village, Dray Sap commune), policy credit capital is the key to rebuilding his life. In 2019, he was caught up in the law with a prison sentence for theft. After being released in 2023, his life seemed to fall into a deadlock due to his own inferiority complex and the doubts of others. In 2024, the door to Triu's life opened when the People's Credit Fund supported a loan of 50 million according to Decision 22/2023/QD-TTg, dated August 17, 2023 of the Government on credit for people who have completed their prison sentences. He used this capital to invest in taking care of his coffee garden and raising goats. Initial results came to him when in the last crop, his coffee garden yielded a good harvest and his goats also gave birth to several litters. “The loan not only helps me make money but also helps me feel more confident in life. In a few years, I will pay off all my debts and expand my farm, raising livestock, and become a useful person to society,” said Vu Dinh Triu.

The transaction office of the Social Policy Bank of Krong Ana district said that the outstanding social policy credit balance in the district reached nearly 476 billion VND, with 11,328 households borrowing capital, of which, the programs with strong influence are lending to poor households, near-poor households, job creation, households producing and doing business in difficult areas... Preferential credit capital contributes to helping the poor and other policy beneficiaries have capital to do business, have jobs, and gradually escape poverty and stabilize their lives. In addition, in 2024, from this capital source, jobs were created, maintained and expanded for more than 440 workers, and 803 clean water and sanitation works were built and repaired...
