Purchasing power doubled at Saigon Co.op supermarket chain during the holiday season

During the recent holiday, Saigon Co.op supermarket system including Co.opmart, Co.opXtra, Co.op Food... recorded increased purchasing power compared to normal days, depending on each point of sale, some places increased nearly 2 times. The unit recorded that Co.opmart, Co.opXtra located in high-rise apartments, shopping malls... had a high number of customers, the reason is that the supermarkets organized Vietnamese Food Festivals on weekends, attracting a large number of customers who are residents or visitors to the shopping mall for entertainment.
The number of holiday shoppers increased, with average order value ranging from 400,000 - 500,000 VND. Supermarkets in localities that are tourist destinations of the country such as Co.opmart Quy Nhon, Tam Ky, Can Tho, Nha Trang, Ca Mau... have become shopping destinations for people when they can come here and buy diverse, rich local specialties at stable prices. Customers are especially excited by the image of the entire supermarket covered in red flag colors through decoration, product display, staff uniforms,... showing national pride on National Day September 2.
