The number 1 position in 2023 used to belong to the iPhone 14 - another "regular" iPhone model, but in 2024 it dropped to number 8.
Ranked right below the cheapest iPhone in the set of 4 devices launched in the same year 2023 are 2 high-end models including iPhone 15 Pro Max and 15 Pro. In 4th place is the mid-range phone model Galaxy A15 5G from Samsung, before iPhone 16 Pro Max takes the last position in the Top 5. Although it was only launched in September 2024, the iPhone 16 series still managed to make its mark when it has 2 models, iPhone 16 Pro Max (5th place) and 16 Pro (9th place) in the group leading in sales.
