The 6th Vietnam - Japan U.13 International Youth Football Tournament 2024 kicked off on the afternoon of December 12, gathering 12 participating teams. Of which, 6 domestic teams include: U.13 Binh Duong, U.13 Hue, U.13 Dong Thap, U.13 Hanoi, U.13 An Giang, U.13 Navy Phu Nhuan - Ho Chi Minh City. The six foreign U.13 teams participating in this year's tournament are FELDA Football Academy (Malaysia), Kawasaki Frontale (Japan), Vegalta Sendai Junior Youth (Japan), Yokohama FC Tsurumi (Japan), FC Tokyo (Japan) and Shimizu S-pulse (Japan).

The opening match of the tournament was a very exciting match in Group A between U.13 Binh Duong and U.13 Kawasaki Frontale. The representative from Japan played very well. However, the young team from Thu Dau Mot with high innovation and taking full advantage of the opportunity won the final victory.
In the 10th minute, from an attack on the right wing, Truong Tuan Bao dribbled the ball at speed and crossed into the penalty area for Nguyen Hung to volley beautifully, opening the score for the match. This was also the only goal of the opening match of the 6th Vietnam - Japan U.13 International Youth Football Tournament in 2024.
Nguyen Hung (21) scored a superb volley, helping U.21 Binh Duong win against the Japanese representative.
The tournament will take place from December 12 to December 15, 2024 at Binh Duong New City Stadium. The All Star match, which will bring together selected players from participating teams, will be held on the final day of the tournament - December 15.
The 6th Vietnam - Japan U.13 International Youth Football Tournament in 2024 promises to bring extremely eye-catching matches to football fans of the two countries. The tournament is organized by Becamex Binh Duong, Kawasaki Frontale Club, Becamex IDC Corporation, Tokyu Group and Brain Group.
