Specifically, the DIFF stage area is about ^1,260m2 , 20% larger than in 2023, creating a large performance space with a grand scale. Located on the east bank of the Han River - the riverside campus of Tran Hung Dao Street, with a convenient location and large size, the DIFF 2024 stage is expected to make a strong impression on the audience.

To create sharper visual effects, the stage is improved in technology and effects. The LED screen is upgraded with a large projection size and transparent mesh technology to create special lighting effects, connecting diverse performance spaces with the audience. The LED floor system continues to be applied with improved quality, creating conditions for performances with sharper images and wider viewing angles, increasing the audience's access and experience.

The preparation stage for the construction of the fireworks stage requires high precision due to the special structure with one part extending into the river and the other part placed on the shore. The stage construction team had to prepare carefully to create a hydraulic lowering system, specially manufactured with an automated mechanism, ensuring the most complete stage quality.

The DIFF 2024 stage's background lifting dome system has also been improved with a lower angle, to optimize the audience's viewing angle. Compared to 2023, the viewing angle from the riverbank has been significantly improved, from 190m to 100m, creating more favorable conditions for the audience to admire the performances on stage.

The most prominent highlight of this year's DIFF is the large lifting platform in the middle of the stage combined with the lighting system to create a unique and multi-dimensional performance space used in the final night. The stage lighting system has been upgraded with modern lifting light technology, which can be raised and lowered flexibly to provide the best views of the entire fireworks area.

In addition, the DIFF 2024 stage also integrates a magnificent water music show, combined with the sparkling Han River surface, creating a special visual effect for the audience.

DIFF 2024 marks the 12th anniversary of the fireworks festival in Da Nang. With the theme " Made in unity - Global connection, Shining on five continents", DIFF 2024 conveys the message of a world of peace, friendship, humanity and honors values that inspire the community.

Inspired by the powerful and profound image of a “hand”, the DIFF 2024 stage is designed not only as a place for performing arts but also as a vivid symbol of solidarity, unity and creativity, just like the message that the program aims for.

The image of hands reaching out and holding each other represents solidarity and unity, and is also a symbol of unity, care and protection. This physical connection symbolizes the deep relationship between people, which is the key to building a happy and sustainable community.

As planned, the opening night of DIFF 2024 will take place on the evening of June 8 at 8:10 p.m., broadcast live on VTV1, Vietnam Television, featuring performances by the host team Da Nang, Vietnam, and the French team - the reigning champion of DIFF 2023.
