In particular, at Huong Tra Ecological Village (Hoa Huong Ward), rows of hundreds of years old Sua trees stretch out, blooming together, competing in yellow in the cool green space, creating a smooth yellow silk strip reflecting on the Tam Ky River.

From that poetic beauty, the "Tam Ky - Sua Flower Season" Festival held over the years has positioned itself as a unique and exclusive festival brand of Tam Ky homeland, attracting many tourists.

Taking place in the atmosphere following a series of activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of Tam Ky, Quang Nam province and preparing to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the complete liberation of the South and national reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 34, 2025), this year the "Tam Ky - Sua Flower Season" Festival left many unforgettable impressions.

According to Permanent Vice Chairman of Tam Ky City People's Committee Nguyen Minh Nam, with the theme "Brilliant yellow flowers", "Tam Ky - Sua flower season 2025" is an important annual cultural - tourism event of the city to promote the image of Tam Ky land and people to domestic and international friends. This is also an opportunity to honor and spread the beauty of yellow sua flowers - a typical flower and heritage tree of Tam Ky land.

“Tam Ky is not only known as the land of three mountains and three rivers with gentle, hospitable and affectionate people; but now, Tam Ky is also remembered with the affectionate name “the city of yellow sua flowers” - Mr. Nam shared.

With the beauty and value of a heritage flower, Huong Tra Sua flower has entered poetry, been chosen as the symbol of Tam Ky city and represents the spirit of "Mountains and waters blooming".

With many unique cultural, sports and tourism activities, in the peaceful and poetic space of Huong Tra Eco-Village, the "Tam Ky - Sua Flower Season 2025" Festival has brought visitors many attractive and interesting experiences, leaving behind beautiful feelings, forever remembering the land and people of Huong Tra - Hoa Huong - Tam Ky.

This year, the joy and pride are doubled for the people of Huong Tra in particular and Tam Ky in general after one year since the group of 9 oldest su trees in Huong Tra became "Vietnam Heritage Trees", and Huong Tra Eco-Village was recognized as a tourist destination.

This is an important milestone in conservation, preservation, and an opportunity to promote local eco-tourism development. In that context, the Huong Tra Village Festival and the spring ceremony at Huong Tra Village Communal House in 2025 are even more meaningful.

According to the elders, the spring ceremony is a traditional ritual of our ancestors that has existed since ancient times. It has been restored by the locality in the past few years and included in the "Tam Ky - Sua Flower Season" Festival program.

This shows the respect of descendants for their ancestors who have contributed to the establishment of Huong Tra village and prays for national peace and prosperity, people's happiness and prosperity, and bountiful harvests; at the same time, educating the young generation about the tradition of "remembering the source of drinking water".

There is no place more poetic than the cool green space of Cua Garden for women to wear Ao Dai next to the ancient Sua trees with the yellow Sua flowers falling on the path. The Ao Dai performance festival “Duyen Dang Huong Tra” continues to be an indispensable specialty of each festival.

There is no place more lyrical than the Tam Ky River, which flows through the Vuon Cua area, becoming the gathering place for traditional boat racers from all over the province to compete as well as the flower lantern festival "Sparkling River and Water on Full Moon Night".

Huong Tra is also the homeland of many famous traditional crafts of Tam Ky such as Hong Lu forging, banh tet, banh chung, banh chap, performed by artisans and ready to serve tourists.
