Times Now quoted a member of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation as saying that Ronaldo will retire at Al-Nassr and has no plans to move to a European team.
"The world's top scorer (Ronaldo) and the Saudi Pro League (SPL) have told Al-Nassr that he will end his football career at this team and will not wear any other team's logo," said a Saudi Arabian Football Federation (SFF) media officer.
Early this morning, Ronaldo scored a double in Al-Nassr's victory over Al-Ahli.
Previously, ESPN said that Al-Nassr's leadership believes that Ronaldo will stay with the team until he retires. The Saudi Arabian team is also willing to extend the contract with the Portuguese superstar if CR7 wants to continue.
Ronaldo is currently under contract with Al-Nassr until 2025, having joined the club on December 31, 2022. By the time his contract expires, the Portuguese superstar will be 40 years old. Ronaldo's recent arrival in the SPL has ushered in a new era for Saudi Arabian football, with European stars flocking to their domestic league.
In this year's tournament, Ronaldo is leading the list of top scorers with 9 goals in the SPL, 3 goals ahead of the chasing pack after 7 rounds. Ronaldo's explosion in the last 5 matches has helped Al-Nassr rise to 5th place in the rankings when this team had a shaky start with 2 losses at the beginning of the season.
Last night, Al-Nassr also posted a clip with Ronaldo as the center of attention.

According to some information, Ronaldo's image in the clip was inspired by Prince Muhammad bin Abdul Rahman Al Saud - a soldier and politician who made great contributions to the formation and development of Saudi Arabia.

Now, Ronaldo is also at the heart of Saudi Arabian football, not only as a football legend but also as a symbol of the development of the SPL.
