Review and make a list of population income survey in Hoa Vang district

DNO - The People's Committee of Hoa Vang district has just organized a training conference to review and update the list of the Per Capita Income Survey under the National Criteria for New Rural Areas for 5 communes expected to reach the advanced and model new rural area target in 2024.

Director of the City Statistics Office (Head of the Working Group on Criteria 10 of Da Nang City) Tran Van Vu said that the training work on reviewing and updating the list of households is very important.

Among the 19 criteria for achieving new rural areas, criterion number 10 on average income per capita is the most difficult criterion to implement, especially in terms of investigation and collection. Accordingly, about 1,800 households from 18,000 households in 5 communes will be selected to conduct a sample survey.

Through the training sessions, investigators will be fully equipped with knowledge, professional expertise, and skills to conduct field investigations in the areas from August 1 to 20, 2024.

Vice Chairman of Hoa Vang District People's Committee Phan Duy Anh said that implementing the national target program on new rural construction in the 2021-2025 period, the district's goal in 2024 is to build 5 communes: Hoa Son, Hoa Nhon, Hoa Phu, Hoa Phong and Hoa Phuoc to reach the advanced new rural and model new rural finish line.

Therefore, it is recommended that the People's Committees of communes regularly monitor, urge, grasp the progress, and direct the entire process of implementing the survey in the commune; at the same time, closely coordinate with the district statistical agency on the progress, especially timely solutions to remove obstacles during the survey process.
