GSM Green and Smart Mobility Joint Stock Company has just officially launched the Green SM Bike electric motorbike transportation service in Hanoi. This is the first step in the plan to cover 5 provinces and cities this year, with the number of up to 60,000 vehicles.
Accordingly, from 2:00 p.m. on August 14, 2023, the Green SM Bike transportation service officially came into operation in the first location, Hanoi. This is a passenger transportation service using VinFast electric motorbikes of GSM Company, launched just 4 months after the implementation of Green SM Taxi and Green SM Luxury, creating an important step forward in promoting green and environmentally friendly transportation methods in Vietnam.
The Green SM Bike electric motorbike transportation service in Hanoi is the first step in the plan to cover 5 provinces and cities this year, with a number of up to 60,000 vehicles.
In the first phase, the service will use the VinFast Feliz S electric motorbikes painted in Xanh SM's signature Cyan color. In the next phase, Xanh SM plans to add the VinFast Evo200 electric motorbike model. With Xanh SM Bike, passengers will be served by a team of friendly, professional drivers and travel on smart, modern electric scooters.
The starting price for the first 2 km of the Xanh SM Bike service is 13,800 VND (equivalent to 6,900 VND/km). From the 3rd km, the applicable fare is 4,800 VND/km. Customers in Hanoi can easily book the Xanh SM Bike service through the Xanh SM application on the iOS App Store and Android Google Play.
From 2:00 p.m. on August 14, 2023, the Green SM Bike transportation service officially started operating in the first location, Hanoi.
In particular, Xanh SM offers the “Xanh 2 School” service, which specializes in picking up and dropping off students to school at flexible times with Xanh SM Bike electric motorbikes or on fixed routes with Xanh SM Taxi and Xanh SM Luxury electric cars. This new service brings peace of mind to parents thanks to the on-board positioning system, real-time itinerary updates, and a strict reporting process immediately after taking passengers to school. Customers can easily register for the “Xanh 2 School” service through the national hotline 1900 2088.
Speaking at the launching ceremony of the Green SM Bike service in Hanoi, Mr. Nguyen Van Thanh - General Director of GSM Company said: “The launching event of Green SM Bike in Hanoi is of great significance to GSM. After only 4 months of operation, we have become the first all-electric transportation service company in the world. In parallel with the plan to expand electric taxi services in 27 provinces and 3 countries, Green SM plans to cover electric motorbike services in 5 provinces and cities with the number of vehicles up to 60,000 in 2023”.
