According to statistics, in Hat Mon commune, there are currently more than 300 workshops producing and trading wooden furniture and processing wood products. Due to limited land fund, most of the workshops are currently located in residential areas.
Along with the lack of space for career development, this also causes environmental pollution, as well as a high risk of fire and explosion. Local people really hope that the People's Committee of Phuc Tho district will soon invest in a concentrated production area.
It is known that in Decision No. 1292/QD-UBND dated March 14, 2018 of Hanoi People's Committee on approving the Planning for the development of Hanoi industrial clusters to 2020, with a view to 2030, Hat Mon industrial cluster (Phuc Tho district) with an area of 10 hectares was included in the planning.
According to the People's Committee of Phuc Tho district, the People's Committee of Hanoi is currently planning the capital for the period 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2050. The People's Committee of the district is reviewing the general construction planning of the district.
The district People's Committee has also sent a document to the Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade to review and complete the Hanoi Industrial Cluster Development Plan to 2030, with a vision to 2050; including a proposal to plan the Hat Mon craft village industrial cluster with an area of 34 hectares.
After the district construction planning is approved, the general construction planning of communes will be adjusted by the People's Committee of Phuc Tho district to be consistent with the higher-level planning. The People's Committee of the district will continue to update the Hat Mon industrial cluster into the district planning project, as a basis for specifying investment and construction orientations in the coming years.
