70 years ago, the Geneva Agreement on the cessation of hostilities in Vietnam was signed, opening a new page in the struggle for national liberation and reunification of our people. With its strategic location and revolutionary tradition, Thanh Hoa was trusted by the Party Central Committee and assigned the task, together with other localities such as Hai Phong, Thai Binh, and Nghe An, to welcome compatriots, cadres, soldiers, and students from the South who gathered in the North. The memorial site for compatriots, cadres, soldiers, and students from the South who gathered in the North, with the main symbol being the "ship monument" in Sam Son, has been basically completed as a symbol of solidarity between the North and the South during the difficult years of the country, truly a "Red Address" for people, domestic and foreign tourists when coming to Sam Son.
