The provincial police play a permanent role, coordinating with departments, branches and localities to carry out tasks, ensure implementation progress, report regularly, and resolve bottlenecks.
Regarding online public services, the issuance of Criminal Record Certificates on VNeID has been implemented since November 12, 2024. Maintaining the provision of 25/25 essential public services under Project 06, with many procedures achieving a 100% online reception rate (permanent residence registration, passport issuance, vehicle license plate issuance, etc.). The use of chip-embedded citizen identification cards and VNeID in many fields has made certain marks. In particular, all health insurance medical examination and treatment facilities look up card information using citizen identification cards; 9th and 12th grade students all have citizen identification cards to serve exam registration; accounts are opened for 67.62% of social welfare beneficiaries, accordingly, pension payments through accounts reach 62.46%.
Some localities have initially deployed ASM accommodation management software, coordinated with the Tax Department to standardize tax codes with personal identification codes, promoted formal loans, limited black credit, piloted driving test monitoring equipment...
In 2024, the budget allocated to implement the Project on developing information technology applications and building digital government in Quang Nam province in the period of 2021 - 2025 is more than 101 billion VND. According to a report from the Department of Finance, the estimated budget for digital transformation in 2025 is approximately 109 billion VND. Quang Nam has organized many training sessions for nearly 1,000 officials and civil servants on digital transformation.
In 2025, local departments and branches are required to continue reviewing and accelerating tasks that have not been completed in 2024. In particular, focusing on ensuring information security and data confidentiality; increasing the use of digital signatures and electronic identification in handling administrative procedures. At the same time, complete the connection of the IOC system with national population data and promote propaganda and support for people to access online public services.
In addition, representatives of departments and branches also reported a number of difficulties and limitations related to the implementation of tasks of Project 06, digital transformation and administrative reform.
Speaking at the conference, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ho Quang Buu accepted the opinions and recommendations of the members' representatives, and at the same time suggested being more proactive in each sector and each specific task.
Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ho Quang Buu requested that in the coming time, we must be really determined, get to work, and proactively build databases for each sector to enrich data for VNeID. Localities and departments must enter records into the data system, process them online, and end late records.
In the coming time, the province will establish an interdisciplinary inspection team to conduct weekly inspections of departments and branches that are slow in implementing assigned tasks related to Project 06, digital transformation and administrative reform.
